Nefis Cosmetics signs agreement for Turkish retail distribution

Nefis Cosmetics has signed a cooperation agreement with Turkey’s Nova Solutions for its first household-chemical supplies to Turkish retail chains. Signed on 16 May 2025 at KazanForum, the agreement provides a route to Migros, BIM and A101. The supplies remain a planned retail rollout.

The companies began negotiations in 2024. Product testing involved 2,400 respondents across 33 Turkish provinces; around half expressed interest in buying the Russian manufacturer’s products, according to the company.

Manufacturing in Kazan

Nefis Cosmetics makes more than 700 products. Its Kazan plants produce laundry detergents, dishwashing liquids, laundry gels, cleaning powders, soap and industrial fatty acids. Brands include AOS, BiMAX, Sorti, Biolan, Zavod Bratyev Krestovnikovykh and NefcoPro.

Nefis Cosmetics and the Kazan Fat Plant form part of Tatarstan-based Nefis Group.

Managing manufacturing assets

Nefis Cosmetics put its 1C:TOIR KORP enterprise asset-management system into industrial operation in early April 2024. The project, implemented with software developer Desnol, supported the company’s technical maintenance and repair activities. The manufacturer sought better visibility of equipment condition and the expenditure associated with maintaining production assets.

The maintenance programme brought together information on operating and capital expenditure, spare parts and staff requirements. The company’s technical team wanted to understand which assets absorbed investment and how to reduce emergency repairs and unplanned stoppages. Its planning work covered:

• scheduled equipment servicing;
• resources for emergency repairs;
• the allocation of maintenance personnel.

The manufacturer recorded recurring equipment faults to identify preventive measures. A mobile application supported defect registration, operating-time records and equipment indicators alongside the asset-management system. Information on completed servicing and available spare parts helped the technical team assess production readiness.

The company also identified a need for a dedicated maintenance unit at the pilot workshop, responsible for analytics, procedures and methodology. Expansion into other workshops remained a subsequent stage of the programme described in 2024. The manufacturing initiative concerned equipment management within the company’s operating base.
